Thank goodness for these!May 30, 2010
By D. B. Cohen I use these every night to sleep because I am a very light sleeper. These do not block out ALL noise, however. I use them to block sounds like the ticking of the clock, car doors slamming, and my cats walking around - things like that. But it will not block out the sounds of very loud music or a loud TV playing in the room. These are much easier to use than the foam kind of earplugs. I would recommend these to anyone looking to purchase earplugs.

Favorite EarplugsOct 05, 2009

They are comfortable for long, continuous wear (sleeping). They don't hurt my ear canals like the ear plugs that you roll to get in your ears. I've tried many different ear plugs (my father was a Safety Cord. for a major manufacturer). These will always be my favorite.

Lightweight ear plugsMar 04, 2011

These earplugs only come in one size. But they fit me well, probably I would use the small size if I had to choose from a size chart.
Comfortable and seals the sound out nicely. Cooler than wearing the full ear muffs.
Only surprise is they came packaged in cellophane bags. My other QD1's uncorded came in little plastic containers. So I took a pill container and cut off one section and made my own container to hold these earplugs since I put them into the pocket of my cutting chaps when weedwhacking etc.

Harley Davidson SilencerDec 20, 2010
By Terry L Colby I've ridden no less than 100,000 miles with these earplugs - I buy 'em by the case. They do lose some sealing power by the eighth or ninth wearing. Generally, I ride in a tight pack with several other Harley's, most with straight pipes. That means LOUD! With these babys plugged in things are nice and quiet - just as the name says. What I really like is the plunger - easy in, nice seal. If you have trouble getting them in, put some water on 'em, they'll slip right in and seal up tight.

These do not work!Aug 11, 2011
By Monica Adams These earplugs are completely ineffectual. I purchased them to wear while sleeping, but they are extremely uncomfortable and do not block out any noise at all. They do not fit well in the ear canal and actually hurt my ears while I had them in. I had wanted to stay away from the foam earplugs that you have to roll to place in your ear, but the foam ones are much more comfortable and effective than these. I'm very disappointed in my purchase - especially since I now have a box of 100 useless earplugs.
